ESPARTACO
Quizas no es muy conocido, pero el si fue un heroe de verdad, que llevo a muchos hombre por el camino de la libertad.
Espartaco, originario de Tracia, militó en las tropas auxiliares romanas. Su deserción le llevó a la esclavitud, siendo destinado a gladiador debido a su fuerza física. En el año 73 a.C. está en una escuela de gladiadores en Capua donde unos 200 gladiadores organizaron un complot durante el verano. Los conspiradores fueron descubiertos pero un grupo de 70 consiguió alejarse de la ciudad bajo la dirección de Espartaco, Criso y Enamao. Un convoy con armas fue interceptado por los fugitivos que se retiraron al Vesubio. Sus fuerzas empezaron a aumentar gracias a los numerosos esclavos que llegaban de las cercanías.
El envió de dos legiones sufrió la misma suerte lo que favoreció que el movimiento se extendiera al sur de Italia. Numerosas ciudades fueron saqueadas. Espartaco organizó un ejército formado por unos 100.000 hombres y se dirigió al norte de la península con el fin de abandonar Italia y recuperar la libertad. Entre los propios esclavos empezaron a surgir desacuerdos lo que favoreció que las tropas romanas obtuvieran algunas victorias. Espartaco y sus seguidores alcanzaron la Galia Cisalpina pero en ese momento regresaron a Roma. En Lucania el ejército esclavo fue cercado por las tropas del pretor Marco Licinio Craso ya que la posibilidad de pasar a Sicilia fracasó porque los piratas contratados para el transporte traicionaron a Espartaco. Luego de la traición de lo piratas se produjo el último enfrentamiento en Silaro en el que murieron unos 60.000 esclavos entre ellos Espartaco.

Cada hombre por su fuerza y valentía, su esfuerzo y su convicción deja marcas en nuestra historia...
Que bueno el saber que a pesar del tiempo, de los años y de su desconocida vida, alguien se preocupa por traerlos al peresentes y hacernos entender que cada uno tiene una misión en esta vida...

weno este es un buen blog , realmente estos son mas heroes q los de las historietas, sobre tu comentario en mi post puede q los prejuicios de las personas q creen q soy emo me molesten ,pero como se que no lo soy no me alarmo.

Buena reseña biográfica Pipe, Espartaco a mi gusto fue el primer revolucionario de la historia, y por eso lo admiro muchisimo. Buen post.
Oye, te doy nombres de otros personajes que también hicieron grandes asañas y que dejaron su nombre en la historia de latinoamerica y el mundo:
Sandino, Joaquín Murieta, Emiliano Zapata, Pancho Villa, Tupac Catari,Tupac Amaru, Pachacutec, El Guerrillero Manuel Rodriguez, entre otros más. Bueno, ojala investigues posteriormente sobre estos grandes líderes que crearon un gran cambio en la historia de nuestra tierra latinoamericana.

Hola Seba, que rico encontrar a alguien que le gusta la historia, es una de mis áreas favoritas. Espartaco fue uno de los primeros en enfrentarse al gran imperio romano,levantando a los esclavos, obteniendo algunas victorias, con mente ingeniosa y hábil.
Linda tu ciudad, la conozco, me encanto el museo que esta en el Morro, es como una parte de nuestra historia media olvidada, tambien podrias hablar de aquellos heroes.

bueno, es dificil encontrar archivos de un gran hombre que luchaba por algo serio que era la libertad... en ese tiempo hombres y mujeres eran esclavos solo por pertenecer al sitio mas pobre de esos tiempos... roma era el poder y la vida única pero una lucha tomo y cambio todo, la rebelion de los gladiadores..." espartaco deberia ser reconocido ya que murio por su sueño llego ser un hombre fuerte y valiente para poder ir contra los romanos nadien lo hacia en esos tiempos le tenian respeto pero él solo pedia una cosa ser libre nada más... haci que te felicito por este blog.. te pasaste... pero un consejo la historia es historia mitos son mitos, cuando hables de cualquier cosa solo averigua y se mas detallado acuerdate que estas referiendote de algunas historias mas reconocidas en sus epocas...
